Saturday, Oct 13, 4 p.m.
at Cannon Chapel, Emory University

"Memayu Hayuning Bawana" is a Javanese ethical concept that signifies human responsibility to sustain beauty, peace, and well-being of the spiritual and physical worlds.

For our special 21st Anniversary Concert, the Emory ensemble will feature Gamelan Master Darsono Hadiraharjo (Cornell University). We will perform a musical selection from Central Java's traditional repetoire and an original piece composed by Darsono. Join us in this celebration and immerse yourself in the shimmering layers of Indonesian gamelan music.

This is a family friendly event with general seating to accomodate 400 persons. $10 suggested donation at the door. Free for children and students with student ID. For more info contact: smuwahi@emory.edu.
