Chris was born and raised in Austin, Texas, but travelled to Columbus, Ohio’s Otterbein University for undergrad, where Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a Minor in Psychology, graduating Magna Cum Laude, With Distinction, and With Honors. After graduating, a move to Durham, North Carolina led to working for Seterus, IBM’s mortgage servicing branch, and while there discovering a great passion for and interest in the power of housing on citizens’ quality of life. That passion led Chris to Atlanta’s Georgia Tech and the pursuit of dual Masters degrees in Public Policy and City and Regional Planning, gaining the skills needed to effect meaningful improvements in our neighbors’ health, environment, and happiness through sound housing policy.
